a decade i have known you
a decade we've been friends
and everytime we've fought
we've always made amends
a decade of smiles and laughter
a decade of playing with toys
i'm forever loyal to you
though i wasn't when we liked the same boys
a decade of tricks and accidents
of injuries and help
sometimes i think i know you better
than you know yourself
a decade of being your support
of lending you a hand
remember when we used to play
in the park; in the sand
and that big pirate ship
and the dolls we used to own
the cubby in you're backyard
a decade we have grown
and though sometimes you feel lost
i am always there
no matter what has happened
i will always care
i dont want anyone to hurt you
i dont want you to hurt yourself
a decade we've looked out for each other
and for each others health
a decade i have known you
and we'll always be friends
and no matter what happens
we'll always make amends
